>Sittard

Sittard, which merged with the neighbouring town of Geleen into Sittard-Geleen in 2001, is a typical market town dating back to the Middle Ages. Its first settlers left their marks in the area 7,000 years ago. Sittard-Geleen has about 95,000 inhabitants. Sittard has an attractive shopping centre, which is largely a pedestrian area, and a cosy market place with plenty of bars and restaurants.

In Sittard you will find, besides the School of Computer Science Information Management course, the Zuyd University Business Schools, the School of Social Work and the School of Law.
